The Brief

Booktable is an online platform that helps users find restaurants and make online reservations, 24/7. The novelty of this service is that restaurateurs can effectively manage their online & offline bookings through the tailored admin panel of the platform.

The Approach

The BookTable project started with the determination of users’ needs for both environments (website and admin panel) in order to provide the best experience.

• Utilising latest tech and design trends, we developed a clean and user friendly website, accessible by all devices, to help users find a restaurant based on their needs and book their table.
• Concurrently, it was important to offer a clear and usable solution to restaurateurs. A cloud application was developed where restaurateurs manage their information displayed in the website and their online & offline bookings (all-in-one system). The latter gave a competitive edge over other competitors as restaurateurs can monitor and handle all reservations at one place.

Finally, evaluating the importance of social media platforms, a Facebook application was created, making it easier for people to book their table via restaurant’s facebook page.
